Storycard Writing

Anthropology is known as the “science of humanity.” Key elements include an in-depth examination of people and places, immersion in the area of interest, and the significance of observation. Our High-Tech Anthropologists® study end-users in their own work environment, observe and ask questions around their current systems and processes, and use workflows and mind-maps to capture and distill information to create designs focused on the goals of the target users.

This workshop is designed for those interested in identifying tools to effectively manage time, budgets and teams. It will focus on using storycards as a tool to increase transparency and inter-team communication, as well as scope individual tasks and entire projects.

In this workshop, you will learn how to write storycards that:

  • Clearly express business value by articulating what the user can accomplish
  • Are set in well defined testable work packages
  • Are independent of one another
  • Allow client stakeholders to identify and make trade-off decisions when project planning
