Job duties: Work with Menlo Marketing & Sales teams to communicate value proposition of Menlo’s engineering practices to prospective clients several of whom are in governmental-regulated industries. Participate in cold calling & other prospecting activities. Lead tours of the Menlo Software Factory for prospective clients. Present formal sessions at conferences. Travel to prospective client sites & lead discussions regarding the applicability of Menlo’s technical processes to prospects’ potential projects. Write sales proposals collaboratively with other Menlo team members. Co-author marketing materials, web pages, brochures, white-papers, journal articles, & training materials describing technical aspects of Menlo’s processes to non-technical audiences. Teach the Menlo versions of pair-programming, test driven development, story-carding, collaborative architecture designing, & continuous integration to client engineers & non-technical client managers. Serve as technical resource for both client & Menlo software engineers engaged in building desktop applications, web applications, & mobile applications.
