About the Role:
Job Title: Salesforce Developer

Job Responsibilities:
- Develop solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce APIs
- Build and enhance Salesforce applications across workflows
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment
- Contribute to code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement
- Estimating the effort involved in implementing individual stories
- Designing, developing, and unit testing software based on stories
- Deploying working builds and finished systems
- Participating in or leading project activities such as daily stand-up meetings, internal kick-offs, show and tell sessions, and planning games
- Implementing Menlo Software Factory key practices, such as Co-Location, Paired Programming, Expert Within Earshot, Collective Code Ownership, Test-First Programming, Unit Tests Run Continually, Automate The Tests, Daily Code Check-in, Continuous Integration, and Spikes & Experiments
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of Salesforce experience
- 5+ years of professional software development experience outside the classroom
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex software projects at all stages of execution
- Deep experience in system design, technical architecture, and troubleshooting
- Excellent communication skills—especially in client-facing scenarios
- Familiarity with and/or interest in agile development, XP, and pair programming
- Experience navigating challenging dynamics between internal teams and external stakeholders
- Comfort juggling multiple moving pieces while keeping an eye on project health, emotional tone, and long-term goals
- Ability to “connect the dots” across the product, tech, and people dimensions of a project
- Commitment to work full time, in-person in Ann Arbor, MI (This is not a hybrid or remote work assignment)
- Our interview process requires candidates to fulfill a 1-day and 3-week trial period on-site in Ann Arbor, MI
Compensation and Benefits:
- Annual base compensation is contingent on the applicant's level; typical starting range is $85,405 - $120,494, with the possibility of additional overtime pay and an annual bonus
